ABC Challenge - R is for Ribbon



Wow, I'm pushing the boat out this week, 2 challenges in 2 days. This one is for the ABC Challenge - R is for Ribbon. I do have quite a few Birthdays coming up and I do not buy cards. So, only one thing for it, I need to get busy again. This is for my Niece's Birthday.( Shelly in Blackpool ) I love these House Mouse stamps, so cute. I made my own little embellishment with shrink plastic and glazed the eyes.

DDC#5 Don't Be a Square, Be a Triangle




This week's challenge over at DDC is aptly titled Don't be a Square, Be a Triangle. You have to make a Triangle shaped card or Box for the Challenge. I enjoyed this one, a bit different from the norm and it gave me an excuse to use the lovely new digital image and backing flowers and sheets from Fred She Said. Which I must say I have to Thank Kath at CB for, she kindly let me know where she got hers from and steered me in the right direction.

ABC challenge N is for Nature and Friday Sketchers


I've done 2 challenges in 1 again this week, I so feel like I'm cheating. But I've been so busy and I've been neglecting the blog of late. Anyway that's enough whinging. My first challenge is for ABC - N is for Nature and the second is for Friday Sketchers. I turned the sketch around for Friday Sketchers. Hope this is okay ? ? I also thought I would have a change and only use plain cardstock.

Dinky Dots - Challenge 1 Halloween - DT


I've been a bit busy over the last few weeks and would love to have made something a bit more special,for the Dinky Dots first challenge, but only managed a very simple card so far, although I do have some sweetie bags to make and something else up my sleeve if I can get it done in time. This week over at a Spoonfull of sugar the challenge is a sketch by Lim.I've used the 2nd of my Anniversary presents from my Hubby on this one.My new Nestabilities. I can see that I will need to buy more shapes now. Lol :)

Friday Sketchers - Challenge 23


This week over at Friday Sketchers is a nice easy sketch. I do so like the simple ones. I made this card for my Husband for our Anniversary. I thought I would use the lovely new table top sewing machine that my Hubby bought me as one of my Anniversary presents.I've wanted to have a go with sewing instead of gluing everything for ages, but I just couldn't be bothered getting out one of my big cumbersome machines. So thanks go to my wonderful Hubby who buys me the most useful crafty gifts.

I've managed to get 2 in 1 today, which is something I hardly ever do. I have done L is for Lace on the ABC Challenge Blog and the Double Dutch Challenge 2 - Sketch it. I just love this Elizabeth Bell image and enjoyed making this one.

A Spoon full of sugar - Challenge 20


Over at A Spoon full of sugar blog this week. The colour theme is pink and green. I really did enjoy this one, I think pink and green are a strong favourite of mine. I've also been dying to use this wonderful image that my Cuddly Buddly friend Linda stamped for me. I think it's a whispers stamp.

Over at Friday Sketchers this week it's Carole, from Englands turn to host the sketch. She has done a nice easy sketch for us. I really enjoyed doing this one. Because of the layout you could add as much or as little extra bits and bobs as you felt you wanted to. I have made this card for my Nephew who's Birthday it is at the end of the month.

A Spoon full of Sugar - Challenge 13


This week over at A Spoon full of Sugar the Challenge is a sketch by Debbie. Also this week it has been opened up so that you can use any make of stamp for the Challenge. Well I thought perfect excuse to make to make another Christmas card with one of the new Cuddly Buddly Christmas stamps range. The Hedgehog was coloured with Prisma pencils.

Penny Black - Challenge 10 Ribbons


What a great challenge this week at Penny Black Saturday Challenge blog. I get to pretty up with Ribbons. I am still feeling quite festive, I've been making lots of Crimbo cards lately. So I thought I would have a perfect chance to use my P B Christmas stamp which I got from the lovely Linda. I love this stamp. it's so easy to use and you can add lots of sparkle to the branches.

My time to Craft - Challenge 25


This weeks theme over at My Time to Craft is Christmas, Yippee say I, it gives me an excuse to use the gorgeous new stamps from Cuddly Buddly. I have used 2 of the new stamps which are, Penguin post and King Edward Post Box. They go so well together. I have coloured with prismas and decoupaged the full Post box, the Penguin has had his hat, wing and beak decoupaged. I also added some Woodware fluffy stuff with a touch of glitter to the hat before I used my heat gun on it. The backing paper is part of the new Winter warm downloadable set also from cuddly buddly.I added an oversized paper clip with a metal snowflake attached and a few gems.

CCT challenge 22 The Two of Us


This weeks challenge over at cute card thursday is the two of us, you can use 2 animals, 2 people or 1 of each. I love this House Mouse image that was sent to me by Charli, so I thought it would be perfect, I am a little bit under the weather this week so emphasis is on simple. It has been coloured with prisma pencils. Background paper from stash, the sentiments are from 2 Autumn leaves sets.

A Spoon full of Sugar - Challenge 10


This weeks theme over at A spoon full of sugar is Animal Magic, you have to use an Animal somewhere on your design. I thought this Hanglar image was perfect and I gave her a grey cat because that's what colour my cat is. She was coloured with Prisma pencils, the papers are Kay Miller. Sentiments are Autumn leaves, I added buttons, Prima flowers and some childrens beads. Ooh and a bit of embroidery thread. Ooh ooh I also did a bit of stitching with the same thread.

Tilda ATC Challenge - Beads


This weeks theme over at the Tilda ATC Challenge blog is beads. I had a good time with this one, I got to sew lots of seed beads onto the lilacs, 52 in total. Tilda was coloured with Prisma pencils. The sentiment is part of an Autumn leaves set.

A Spoon full of Sugar - Challenge 9


This weeks challenge over at A Spoon full of Sugar was to design a card using a layout that was done by this weeks guest designer Katharina Frei. I used an hanglar image that was kindly stamped for me by Tricia. It was coloured with Prisma pencils and the head, hand and wagon were decoupaged. I then matted it onto Bazzill, with Kay Miller papers,the elements and sentiment are also part of the same set of papers, some gems, sheer Ribbon and a bit of embroidery thread.

Tilda atc challenge - Buttons


This weeks challenge over at the Tilda atc challenge Blog, is Buttons. I just love making these little atc's, Tilda was layered onto Bazzill and decorated with my Prisma pencils and a silver gel pen. I added a few little buttons for embellishments, the sentiment was printed onto white paper.
