Tilda ATC Challenge - Beads

This weeks theme over at the Tilda ATC Challenge blog is beads. I had a good time with this one, I got to sew lots of seed beads onto the lilacs, 52 in total. Tilda was coloured with Prisma pencils. The sentiment is part of an Autumn leaves set.

Tilda atc challenge - Pearls

This week's challenge for the Tilda atc challenge blog was to put something pearly on your atc, either pearl paint, pearl paper, pearl gems etc. My Tilda was done using water colour for the face and prismas everywhere else. I layered her with a couple of scraps of Shabby Princess papers and topped her on Bazzill. I then added lots of little self adhesive pearls to her dress and larger size pearls to decorate the flower and edges of the topper. ( ooh and a touch of stickles on Tildas wings and Butterfly )I have to say a BIG THANK YOU to my sis Pauline in Oz for the pearls.
(If you saw my stash of gems and pearls that she sends me , you would all want her for your sister)

Tilda atc challenge- Lavender and Lace

This is my entry for this weeks Tilda atc challenge, which was themed Lavender and Lace - I really enjoy doing these little atc's, I never thought I would do ( but there you go )I have downloaded an image of a Lavender garden from the net - printed it on matte photo paper then layered it onto Bazzill card stock. I have paper pieced and decoupaged Tilda, the flowers that you can see to the left are lace flowers which I cut from a roll then inked them with a purple ink pad and added a gem for the centre. Lots of stickles on the Lavender and Tildas wings.

Tilda Challenge atc - Bits and Pieces

This is my first go at the Tilda atc challenge. I decided to do something a bit different, I am going to use this as a topper for my Daughter's Birthday card. In the first photo you can see the closed view of the Tilda topper. When you pull the ribbon at the top - the top comes up and the bottom pops out giving your greetings etc. The second and third photo show you the opening views of the topper. It has a mechanism inside the topper which allows this to happen. I also made the mechanism inside the topper, which is very simple and easy to do. I just used some odd bits of paper and flowers for decoration. It has been backed onto Bazzill.
